Oak Ridge, N.J. – July 19, 2023 – Lakeland Bank was proud to sponsor iHeart Media’s Summer Food Drive, a three-day event from June 30th through July 2nd. In efforts to benefit the Sussex County Division of Social Services and its food pantry. iHeart Media hosted the event held at three ShopRite locations in Sussex County: Franklin, Newton, and Sparta.
“The summer is a time of year when most people don’t realize how challenging it is for those in need. With Lakeland’s support, we were able to mobilize quickly and arrange an event to help fill our pantry. This three-day food drive at our area ShopRites yielded two, completely packed, buses of food, for which we are so very grateful!” said Joan Bruseo, Director, Division Social Services.
“We are more than happy to sponsor the summer food drive, support our local neighbors and raise awareness for issues concerning the community,” shared Keith Niedergall, Senior Vice President, Northern Region Administrator.
