Oak Ridge, N.J. – DATE – Thomas J. Shara, president and chief executive officer of Lakeland Bank recently announced the following officer promotions.
Woudeline Chery to Assistant Treasurer, Branch Operations Manager. Chery joined Lakeland Bank in June 2012 as an Assistant Branch Manager in the Pompton Plains Office. Prior to joining the Bank, she worked for Capital One Bank in Franklin Lakes as an Assistant Branch Manager. Chery earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from SUNY Old Westbury and is a resident of Rockland County, N.Y.
Daniel Decker to Assistant Treasurer, Branch Operations Manager. Decker joined Lakeland Bank in April 2014 as an Assistant Branch Manager in the Andover Office. Prior to that, he worked for Valley National Bank as an Assistant Vice President, Branch Sales Manager in Landing. Decker earned an associate’s degree in liberal arts from County College of Morris and is a resident of Flanders.
Michele Jacobs to Assistant Treasurer, Management Accounting. Jacobs joined Lakeland Bank in April 2000 as a part-time Imaging Operator. She transferred to Deposit Operations as a Deposit Operations Clerk in August 2005 and transferred in November 2010 to the Finance Department as an Accounting Clerk. Jacobs was promoted to Management Accounting Assistant in September 2013. She has a bachelor’s degree from DeVry University and graduated Magna Cum Laude. A member of Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society, Golden Key Honor Society and team organizer for Autism Speaks, Jacobs resides in Jefferson Township.
Angela Kohler to Assistant Treasurer, Purchasing Administrator. Kohler joined Lakeland Bank in January 2004 as a part-time Teller and advanced to the position of Teller Manager. She transferred to Loan Operations as a Consumer Loan Processor in August 2006, and transferred to Asset Based Lending in 2009. Kohler joined the Facilities Department as a Purchasing Administrator in March 2012. She is a resident of Highland Lakes.
Destiny Wolff to Assistant Treasurer, Branch Operations Manager.Wolff joined Lakeland Bank in July 1993 as a part-time Teller at Hewitt branch. She was promoted to Customer Service Representative in March 1998 and to an Assistant Branch Manager in January 2012. Wolff is currently working in the Newfoundland Office, and she resides in Hewitt.
Cecilia Bastady to Assistant Vice President, Paralegal II.Bastady joined Lakeland Bank in February 2005 as a Call Center Clerk in the Loan Operations Department. She transferred in 2007 to Commercial Loans as a Commercial Loan Assistant and in 2010 to the Legal Department as a Paralegal. She was promoted to Assistant Treasurer, Paralegal in September 2011. Bastady has an associate’s degree from Berkeley College and her Paralegal Certification from the National Academy of Paralegal Studies. She is a resident of Jefferson.
Kristina DeLuca to Assistant Vice President, BSA-Fraud Manager.DeLuca joined Lakeland Bank in May 2005 as a Teller. She transferred to Investment Services as a Financial Advisor Assistant in December 2007 and transferred again in January 2011 to the BSA-Fraud Department as a Jr. BSA Analyst. DeLuca advanced within the BSA-Fraud department and was promoted to Assistant Treasurer, Sr. BSA Analyst in May 2014. She is a resident of Sussex County.
Dora Rodriguez to Assistant Vice President, Branch Manager.Rodriguez joined Lakeland Bank in November 2007 as a Customer Service Representative in Andover. She was promoted to Assistant Branch Manager in June 2008 and was promoted to Assistant Treasurer, Branch Manager of the Stanhope Office in August 2013. Rodriguez is a 2011 and 2012 member of Lakeland Bank’s President Club and received the Bank’s CEO Allstar Award in 2013. She resides in Newton.
Theresa Ruvo to Vice President, Assistant Branch Administrator.Ruvo joined Lakeland Bank in April 2014 as an Assistant Vice President, Assistant Branch Administrator. Prior to joining the Bank, she worked for Kearny Federal in Fairfield as Director of Training. She has a bachelor’s degree in management from Kean University and is a volunteer CCD teacher and Eucharistic Minister for St. Pius X Church. Ruvo is a resident of Montville.
Bruce Bready to Senior Vice President, Small Business Lending Manager. Bready joined Lakeland Bank in July 2004 as a Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer for the Wyckoff Team and transferred to the Sussex Lending Team in October 2006. In 2011, he started the Small Business Lending department in Newton, and was promoted to Vice President, Small Business Lending Manager in March 2013. He has a bachelor’s degree in finance and marketing from Alfred University. Bready is a resident of Byram.
