Oak Ridge, N.J. – Aug. 9, 2018 – Lakeland Bank is pleased to announce that James Nigro, Chief Risk Officer was recently named President of the Morris Habitat for Humanity board of directors and Debra Zimmerly, Vice President, was recently named Chairman of the board of directors for the Housing Partnership.

Nigro had served as a Director of Morris Habitat for Humanity since January 2013, and previously served as Treasurer and Vice President before being elected Board President. With more than 30 years of banking experience, Nigro was named Executive Vice President, Chief Risk Officer at Lakeland Bank in 2016. He also serves as a member of the Morris County Housing Alliance and as a member of the Enterprise Risk Management and Commercial Lending Committees of the New Jersey Bankers Association. He is a member of the Risk Management Association and earned a Credit Risk Certification designation from that organization. Nigro is a resident of Mendham Township.

Zimmerly had served as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Housing Partnership since March 2016 before being elected Chair. She joined Lakeland Bank in 2013 as Vice President, Compliance Officer with the acquisition of Somerset Hills Bank in Bernardsville where she had spent 15 years as the Compliance and CRA Officer. She was promoted to CRA Officer and Fair Lending Officer in 2014. Zimmerly is a resident of Lincoln Park.
