Mira Cocozziello to Vice President, Branch Manager of the Sparta Town Center office. Cocozziello joins Lakeland Bank with over 25 years of banking experience most recently with Team Capital Bank/Provident Bank in West Orange, N.J. as Vice President, Regional Manager. Prior to that, she was a Vice President, Area Branch Manager at Independence Community Bank/Sovereign Bank in Livingston, N.J. Cocozziello attended Montclair State College and is a board member for the Livingston Chamber of Commerce and West Orange Chamber of Commerce. Cocozziello is a resident of Sparta, N.J.
Susan Scimone-Bellini promoted to Senior Vice President, Regional Administrator of the Eastern region based at the Wyckoff office. Scimone-Bellini began her career with Lakeland Bank in September 2009 as Vice President, Branch Manager of the West Caldwell office and transferred in April 2010 to the Teaneck office. In March 2011, she was promoted to Vice President, Area Manager of the Teaneck and Englewood offices. Prior to Lakeland Bank, Scimone-Bellini worked 26 years at Sovereign Bank where she advanced to District Executive. She currently serves on the board for Habitat of Humanity of Bergen County and is a member of the FBI Citizens Academy; and is a former board member of Notre Dame Interparochial School, March of Dimes Northern Chapter and the Meadowlands Regional Chamber of Commerce. Scimone-Bellini is a resident of Palisades Park, N.J.
Thomas Kiernan to Vice President, Sales Manager in the Mortgage department based at corporate headquarters in Oak Ridge. Kiernan joins Lakeland Bank with 28 years of mortgage lending experience most recently with BCB Community Bank as Vice President, Residential Mortgage. Prior to that, he was with Gibraltar Bank and Priority One Financial Services as Senior Vice President. Kiernan earned his bachelor’s degree from Seton Hall University, South Orange, N.J. He is a member of the EEINJ group and the Knights of Columbus in Montclair, N.J. Kiernan is a resident of Verona, N.J.
Drew TerWaarbeek promoted to Vice President, Area Manager of the Montville and Boonton branches. TerWaarbeek started his career with Lakeland Bank in July 2000 as a Teller at the Montville office. He advanced through various positions including Customer Service Representative, Assistant Branch Manager and Branch Operations Manager. TerWaarbeek earned an associate degree in liberal arts from County College of Morris. He is a member of the Montville Township Chamber of Commerce and serves as Secretary of the LeTip of Par-Troy Chapter in Parsippany. TerWaarbeek resides in Rockaway, N.J.
