Oak Ridge, N.J. – March 26, 2015 – Thomas J. Shara, President and CEO of Lakeland Bank, is pleased to announce the following appointments.
Jerry Slavik was appointed to Vice President, Area Manager of the Wyckoff and Park Ridge offices. Slavik joins Lakeland Bank with over sixyears of banking experience most recently with TD Bank in Fair Lawn as Store Manager. Prior to that, he was Store Manager at Wachovia/Wells Fargo in Ridgewood. Slavik has a bachelor’s degree in communications from William Paterson University. He is a member of Rotary International and president of the Fair Lawn Rotary Club. Slavik is a resident of Pompton Plains.
Karim Waheeb was named Vice President, Area Manager of the Englewood and Teaneck offices. Waheeb joins the Bank with over 10 years of experience most recently as Banking Center Manager at Provident Bank in Teaneck. Prior to that, he was Store Manager at Wells Fargo in Allendale and Paterson and a Financial Sales Consultant with PNC Bank in Englewood. Waheeb has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from University of Phoenix, and has his New Jersey Life Insurance Producer License plus Series 6 and 63 Licenses for Securities and Investments. A member of the Cedar Lane Management Group, Teaneck Chamber of Commerce, and Habitat for Humanity, Waheeb resides in Rochelle Park.
