Feel the Teal This October! We’re participating in the FARE® - Food Allergy Research & Education Inc. Teal Pumpkin Project to raise awareness of food allergies and make Halloween safe and inclusive for all trick-or-treaters. This worldwide movement offers an alternative for kids with food allergies, as well as other children for whom candy is not an option.
How Lakeland Bank is Showing Our Support:
This month, our branches will be stocked with coloring pages, crayons and special treats. Trick-or-treaters who return their completed artwork will receive a prize and have their artwork displayed in the branch all month long. Simply download your coloring pages now or visit your local branch today!
How You Can Make a Difference:
- Provide non-food treats for trick-or-treaters.
- Place a teal pumpkin – the color of food allergy awareness – in front of your home to indicate you have non-food treats available.
- Add your home to the Teal Pumpkin Project map.
- Spread the word! Share the Teal Pumpkin Project with your friends and family.
